Dr. Michelle Thomas (Née Bushell)
BSc (Hons) MChiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

 

Michelle has been practicing in a well established clinic in Berkshire for the last 4 years but has come back to her roots to start her own practice in Cardiff.

 

Michelle comes from an elite sporting back-ground; specialising in swimming, she received chiropractic care whilst preparing for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Michelle experienced first hand the benefits of chiropractic treatment and has since then developed a passion for the profession.

 

After completing her Sports Science degree, she went on to complete a 4 year Masters at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.

 

Since graduating, Michelle has continued to expand her knowledge and understanding by attending a number of Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and Cranial Courses. She is also qualified in dry needling (a form of modern acupuncture).

 

During her time in practice, Michelle has developed a keen interest in treatment of pregnant women and babies, attending courses focusing on pregnancy and paediatric spinal and cranial correction.

 

She is also passionate about helping athletes not only free themselves from pain, but also address the body's underlying mechanical imbalances to help them achieve optimal performance.

 

 

Dr. Lisa Herrod
BSc (Hons) Chiro

Lisa graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and has practised in South Wales since 2008.

Lisa is passionate about the benefits of Chiropractic and enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a particular interest in post operative/traumatic rehabilitation, caring for the young to the very elderly.

Lisa utilises diversified technique and since graduating has attended courses in dry needling, paediatrics and sports taping.

 

Karl Thomas
Sports Massage Therapist

 

Our Sports Massage therapist, Karl Thomas, a former international boxer representing Wales at two Commonwealth Games.

 

He has gained first hand experienced and knowledge through his sporting career to enable him to improve his patients general well being as well as prevent and recover from various injuries whether it be a specific sporting injury or work related stress that comes with having to sit at a desk all day. Karl tailors each treatment to suit you and your needs.

 

Mhairi-Clair Stewart
Chiropractor

 

Mhairi-Clair is a keen cyclist and triathlete and regularly competes in both. She has recently completed a half-ironman triathlon, and intends to complete a full ironman in the next few years.

 

She graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a Master of Chiropractic degree, and also has qualifications in dry needling and kinesiology taping.

 

Mhairi-Clair treats a wide variety of complaints and she works with patients of all ages. She has managed to combine her love of sport with Chiropractic and helps many athletes with injury prevention, care, and rehabilitation in order to help them enhance their sporting performance.

 

She has worked with an English rugby union team providing pitch-side medical support, including the assessment and treatment of injuries. Furthermore, she has provided Chiropractic care to athletes at the Welsh Disabled Golf Open and the European Beach Lifesaving Championships.

 

Mhairi-Clair has an interest in caring for children and pregnant women and wishes to further her knowledge and practical skills as a Chiropractor by undertaking the Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) post-graduate course.
