Michelle Thomas

BSc (Hons) MChiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

Michelle graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2009 and worked for 4 years in a well established clinic in Berkshire before coming back to her roots to open her own, Whitchurch Chiropractic Clinic.

Michelle has a huge passion in making a difference to peoples lives for the better and always strives to do this along with her team here at the clinic…”no problem is too small or big” we will do all we can to help you.

Michelle comes from an elite sporting back-ground; specialising in swimming, she received chiropractic care whilst preparing for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Michelle experienced first hand the benefits of chiropractic treatment and has since then developed a passion for the profession.

After completing her Sports Science degree, she went on to complete a 4 year Masters at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.

Since graduating, Michelle has continued to expand her knowledge and understanding by attending a number of Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and Cranial Courses. She is also qualified in dry needling (a form of modern acupuncture).

During her time in practice, Michelle has developed a keen interest in treatment of pregnant women and babies, attending courses focusing on pregnancy and paediatric spinal and cranial correction.

Lisa Herrod

M.Chiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

Lisa graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2008.

Since graduating she has broadened her skillset by attending numerous courses including Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), paediatric, functional taping and dry needling.

During her years in practise Lisa has gained experience treating a diverse range of patients of all ages from babies to elderly patients along with pregnant women and those with sporting injuries.

Her focus is on the well-being of her patients and giving advice on rehabilitation that best suits your requirements.

Lisa also works within academia as a clinical supervisor at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic working with the final year students as part of their clinical placement.

Ellie Jones

M.Chiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

Ellie is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.

Ellie has always had a passion to help with a working background in sports massage and other holistic care modalities such as acupuncture. 

She is a keen competitive cross-fitter and show-jumper and travels nationally and internationally with her sports to compete. Ellie understands the demand high level sports have on the body and how important a good healthcare system is to achieve the best performances. 

Ellie believes chiropractic care is an excellent way to enhance the wellbeing and physical performance of everyone from young children to adults, whatever their lifestyle. 

Lily Jones

M.Chiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

Lily graduated with a distinction in her Master of Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.
Her love of Chiropractic care grew when she received treatment for a low back injury sustained during a netball game. Through this, Lily experienced first-hand the healing power and impactful benefits of Chiropractic care.
Lily has played netball at a national level and continued this throughout her studies.

From her degree and experience in high level sport Lily has a vast understanding of anatomy, and how to build a strong capable body that improves performance. Lily is keen to apply this with patients and help them eliminate pain, build strength and be able to perform in the times that matter to them – from elite sport, to playing with the Grandchildren.

‘Movement is Medicine’ is Lily’s motto, she is passionate about using movement and other holistic care modalities such as acupuncture, dry needling, and active release therapy to enhance the improvements she can make to patients’ lives and overall wellbeing.

Cassie Thomas

M.Chiro DC Doctor of Chiropractic

Cassie graduated with a distinction in her Master of Chiropractic from the Welsh institute of Chiropractic. 
Cassie’s aim is to help people out of pain, then continue to maintain the well-being of patients and maintain a healthy and optimal lifestyle.
 
During her training years, she has acquired additional qualifications and attended many courses to broaden her skill set, to suit everyone’s requirements.
 
Cassie is a keen runner, completing several marathons and other races, so she knows how sports can affect the body and how to achieve your active lifestyle goals.
Karl Thomas
Sports Massage Therapist
Our Sports Massage therapist, Karl Thomas, is a former international boxer representing Wales at two Commonwealth Games.
He has gained first hand experienced and knowledge through his sporting career to enable him to improve his patients general well being as well as prevent and recover from various injuries whether it be a specific sporting injury or work related stress that comes with having to sit at a desk all day.
